A skilled installation crew is required to install air conditioners. Electrical and personal refrigeration certificates (also known as F-Gas certificates) should be held by contractors. The only equipment that the consumer may install themselves is portable air conditioners. Nonetheless, during installation, the guidelines in the handbook that comes with it must be followed.
